Out-of-Status Construction Workers
This program is closed to new applications. The temporary public policy for out-of-status construction workers in the Greater Toronto Area closed on December 31, 2024. IRCC continues to process applications submitted on or before that date.
About the public policy
This policy offered a limited number of construction workers without immigration status, and their dependants, a pathway to permanent residence. It covered the City of Toronto and the regions of Durham, Halton, Peel and York.
